Oh man, social media - to be or not to be. Honestly, nothing can be worse unless you get in, knowing exactly what you want and curbing your media diet vehemently to only the ones that matter.

Social media? To be or not to be; it is a tool used wrongly by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Sounds like spontaneous fun. I look forward to the ride.

See you around.

The muse retaliating and running away whenever it wants part~? I grinned at that~ Yes, some writing really does act like a tiny feral roommate with its own rules~

Honestly, I don’t mind a feral housemate. At least she’s tidy; she leaves nothing behind but the words.

I used to run a meme page years ago add the amount of years spent on the internet I think I've developed a thick skin for online trolls. It's not hard for me to ignore. I will admit, tho, that as of lately what 'triggers' me isn't what usually would trigger anyone, it's very harmless/stupid things, still with the obvious intent to troll but nothing disrespectful. Anyway, for some people the blocking feature's their best friend, I dont think that does much but to each their own. I feel an online bully can only do so much (in most cases, not talking hackers or anything like that). When you think about it their bs dies on their screen if you ignore it.

That’s the dream, but I’m at the opposite end of the spectrum. My skin is paper-thin. I'd be 'ban-trigger happy' within minutes! I just want to protect my headspace while I give this a go.

Thank you for sharing your world with such raw honesty. There is a gentle resilience in your words. Even on days when your 'spoons' are low, you've managed to build such a captivating sanctuary through your writing. Please continue to follow the rhythm of your 'Muse'—we will always be here, quietly supporting you every step of the way.

Exhausting isn’t it, to be at the mercy of an inspiration that doesn't respect your schedule because it has a schedule of its own. You’re not in sync, or worse … you’re not in control.

Some writers find that building a "box” of strict routines helps lure the muse in, while others just learn to keep a notebook handy at all times to catch the lightning when it strikes. I embrace the latter. Probably why I gravitate towards the external muse.

This quote is everywhere it seems, but I think it’s true, “Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work." — Stephen King

So, go to work.

Sometimes you just have to glue yourself to the keyboard and type away, whether the inspiration is there or not.
